Testing - Design Verification Intern

Job Overview  

  • Participate in research and product development project to address real-word problems in medical device industry.  


Main Responsibilities 

  • Participate and assisting medical device projects which may include: research tech options, engineering study, testing, trouble shooting, and documentation. 
  • Proactively learn and understand the corresponding department's responsibilities and authorities. 
  • Follow senior colleague and instructor/mentor's instruction to complete assigned tasks and feedback the progress. 
  • Before the internship finishes, complete a internship report and present professionally to show learning result. 


Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field. 
  • Independent thinker who is willing to discover new solutions off the beaten tracks 
  • Interest in design assessment and verification, product engineering and problem solving in the medical industry. 
  • Committed to self-development. 
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin 
  • Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills in English (spoken/written)  
  • Diligent, reliable and target oriented team player 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Interest in using mechanical engineering tools for test method development 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
