Job Overview

The Process Mining Specialist will play an exciting role in the technical deployment of SHL Medical’s Process Mining initiatives within the global Process Excellence team. The role will be both business and IT facing and will ensure that our process mining activities are aligned with SHL Medical’s fast growth as well as embedded in other process-related projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Developing, modifying, and validating data extraction and transformation scripts.
• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems.
• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.
• Filtering data by reviewing reports and process performance indicators (PPIs) to identify and correct code problems.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
• Preparing analysis reports based on stakeholders’ requirements, enabling them to take informed decisions.
• Supporting the development, analysis, and improvement of business processes.
• Training extended teams of process experts in process mining analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in process mining (SAP Signavio Process Intelligence experience advantageous)
• Solid experience in SQL with regards to data transformation and data analytics, as well as database technologies, ETL, and programming.
• Solid understanding of process management concepts, BPM technology, and familiarity with process modeling standards, ideally BPMN 2.0.
• Experience working with ERP systems (ideally SAP), data extraction, data analysis, reporting, etc.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS and R) to be used for data set analyzing.
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of key customer processes, such as Lead to Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, etc. and their typical improvement potentials.
• Value quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Team-working skills for cross-functional, cross-cultural collaboration as well as an ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking, and a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
• PLM experience advantageous.
• Ability to travel outside of Europe.
