Job Overview

The Senior Recruiter serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating workforce plans into actionable hiring strategies and providing market insights that support informed decision-making. This role is responsible for building strong pipelines for critical and niche talent through proactive sourcing, effective stakeholder partnership, and close collaboration with hiring managers and HRBPs. The role also strengthens SHL Medical’s employer brand through consistent candidate engagement and external partnerships, including universities, government agencies, and industry networks. By leveraging data, market intelligence, and continuous improvement, the Senior Recruiter enhances hiring effectiveness and elevates the overall impact of talent acquisition.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across direct labour, indirect labour roles to meet business hiring targets.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to align on hiring priorities, search strategies, expectations, and market insights.
  • Manage external partners, agencies, and recruiting platforms to improve candidate quality and hiring efficiency.
  • Build and strengthen critical talent pipelines through university engagement, early-career programs, government partnerships, and industry networks.
  • Support employer branding initiatives through recruitment campaigns, events, external partnerships, and consistent candidate engagement.
  • Continuously improve hiring processes, candidate experience, compliance practices, and stakeholder satisfaction. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of talent acquisition experience, with strong full-cycle recruiting expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume (direct labour) and IDL niche hiring concurrently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in ATS, recruiting analytics, and talent insights tools. Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into actions 
  • Strong communication, planning, and execution skills 

Desirable (nice to have)

  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, medical device, or high-tech industries is preferred.
  • Background in campus engagement, early career hiring, or government partnerships.
  • Familiarity with Foreign DL talent landscape and workforce initiatives and experience working with external agencies and external talent ecosystems.

Language skills 

  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Good at English verbal communication, writing and reading (TOEIC 785 or above)
