JOB TITLE: Senior Platform Product Lead
JOB DESCRIPTION: Using knowledge of and experience: in medical device industry with a focus on product and process development, program management, or manufacturing engineering; with root cause investigation and nonconforming material report/corrective and preventative action handling; high volume manufacturing lines; leading technical project teams; digital Quality Management Systems like Teamcenter and Manufacturing Execution Systems like Siemens Opcenter; risk management; hazard analysis; and validation processes; Manage the project scope including the full end-to-end process from internal component production, external supply, and final assembly. Interface with critical customer stakeholders, driving internal engineering activities, and leading the platform team comprised of engineering subject matter experts, as well as quality and operations representatives. Drive equipment/process retrofits, specifications and requirements setting, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives using digital Quality Management Systems (Teamcenter) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Siemens Opcenter). Initiate root cause investigation and nonconforming material report/corrective and preventative action handling when necessary. Communicate critical process updates with sister sites globally. Technically lead local platform team engineers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (U.S. equivalent) and five (5) years of experience evidencing demonstrable ability to perform the stated job duties. Requires working off-hours depending on project status and priorities (early morning, late night, or weekend depending on platform/product production status). New hires subject to drug test and background check.
