【Job Overview】

In Taiwan, SHL Medical is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Inventory Coordinator (Contractor) to join the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Services team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, maintain, and improve the accuracy and completeness of the company's IT software and hardware inventory records within the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.

The role works closely with end users, business stakeholders, system owners, vendors, procurement teams, and internal IT stakeholders to ensure IT assets are properly tracked throughout their lifecycle, from procurement and deployment through retirement and disposal. The successful candidate will contribute to inventory governance, data quality, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

This role requires an energetic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to work cross-functionally.

 

【Main Responsibilities】

  • Collaborate with business users, system owners and internal IT stakeholders to verify and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT software and hardware assets within the ITSM platform.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, duplicate records, and data quality issues.
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and validation activities to ensure inventory accuracy and completeness.
  • Track asset lifecycle activities, including procurement, receipt, deployment, transfer, replacement, and disposal.
  • Ensure assigned asset records contain accurate ownership, location, status, warranty, and configuration information.
  • Support software license tracking and ensure inventory records align with licensing requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of ITSM asset management processes and workflows.
  • Maintain proper documentation of asset management procedures and work instructions.
  • Support governance initiatives related to asset lifecycle management and configuration management.
  • Assist the ICT Services team with software asset-related service requests and operational activities.


【Required Skills & Qualifications】

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Good verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese are mandatory.
  • Excellent communicator in a cross-functional team.
  • A high level of autonomy in combination with a results-driven mindset.
  • Positive, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.


【Desirable (nice to have)】

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, TOEIC score of 700 or above (or equivalent, such as TOEFL, IELTS, or other internationally recognized certifications)
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
