Job Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for verifying ERP inventory transactions completion of the receiving, storing, transferring, issuing, and shipping of materials and finished product. Including the coordination and completion of the materials scrapping process. Following and enforcing safety and company policies including all the applicable regulations (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA – Federal Drug Administration, ISO13485 among others).
Main Responsibilities
- Supervises daily activities of warehouse team members, including participation in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development.
- Supports disciplinary actions in alignment with HR and the Warehouse Manager.
- Reviews and approves Material Handlers’ time sheets and communicates attendance or policy concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Participates in performance evaluations for Material Handlers.
- Ensures warehouse operations are executed in compliance with regulations, quality work instructions, and company policies.
- Oversees material receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, and shipping activities to support production and customer requirements.
- Participate in production meetings to ensure warehouse readiness for scheduled jobs.
- Collaborate with inventory and logistics management by coordinating physical scrap handling and outbound shipments, ensuring documentation accuracy.
- Supports material staging when the Warehouse Lead or designated personnel are unavailable.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of operations or warehousing experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience working with ERP programs.
- Prior SAP system preferred.
- Strong history of working in a demanding environment while abiding by processes and protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations in the pharma industry.
- Ability to kindly lead a diverse team of employees with self-control and respect.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
