Job Overview

The Associate Project Manager will perform activities to support the creation and release of design control documents for new product introductions of medical devices within Drug Delivery Systems.  This individual will support Project Management in maintaining the divisional project prioritization list and other project and administrative activities.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in cost control and cost management systems
  • Receive, review, forward, and track the status of new project submittals
  • Initiate, prepare, review, track, and distribute RFIs
  • Compile and maintain project-specific status reports and project timelines
  • Compile and maintain resource-loading charts
  • Project milestone (invoicing) coordination with each Project Manager & Finance Mgr.
  • Support/Coordinate PM's with critical procurement interface and priorities based on project schedules
  • Support project teams by facilitating the circulation and approval of Design Control documents, maintaining project files, and processing/evaluating new project proposals.
  • Support Project Management organization in driving project activities, such as specific project tasks and work streams
  • Act as a project leader on small sustaining projects - setting goals, managing timelines, and running project team meetings
  • Provide administrative support to team members such as generating purchase requisitions, coordinating steering committee meetings, establishing project costs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualification

 

  • Associates degree in a business or scientific discipline with 2-3 years of administrative, project management, or technical experience
  • Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading ability, attention to detail, and time management skills required
  • Strong administrative skills and proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)
