Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about what you can achieve in SHL. You will be working closely with our team to conduct research, attend meetings where you will be asked to participate in the design of new challenging projects and support on the efforts to keep quality to its best. To be successful as an Intern with Development Emerging Technologies (DET) Department, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current tasks.
Main Responsibilities
- Take part in the team's entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), support code development and documentation
- Test firmware that employs a variety of testing methodologies such as integration, regression, performance test, etc.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and execute test cases
- Peer-review test cases
- Create detailed bug and test reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Student of Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar
- Capable of preparing test plans, test cases and executing test cases
- Experienced using operating systems such as Windows, Android, and/or iOS
- Ability to read electrical schematic drawings (nice to have).
- Fluent in English or fluent Mandarin with basic English.
- Attention to detail and consistency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded firmware testing
- Knowledge about IEC 62304
